VERY FAST SETTING WATER STICKING MORTAR
Product Description:
It is a water plugging mortar containing special cements, chemicals and polymer additives, used in the insulation of active water leaks and drying of surface water, which sets very quickly in contact with water.

In stopping and clogging of active water leaks coming from surfaces such as basements, foundations, curtain walls, elevator wells, reinforced concrete water tanks, concrete pipes in the form of pressure or leakage before insulation,
Drying the surfaces before insulation.

Ready to use, easy to apply.
It has one component, it only mixes with water.
It can be applied dry or mixed with a sufficient amount of water and applied as a mortar.
It sets very quickly at the points where it comes into contact with water, it stops water leakages very quickly and provides insulation.
It expands towards the opposite of the flow direction of the water and does not shrink after setting.
It adheres perfectly to the surface and has a very high mechanical strength.
All kinds of waterproofing material can be applied on it 15 minutes after application.
It does not contain chloride and does not corrode reinforced concrete.

The mixing ratio of water may vary depending on weather and ambient conditions, and the water amount should be determined on site by testing in the application area.
Application Floor Temperature: + 5ºC to + 35ºC

The above values are given for +23 ºC and 50% relative humidity.
Pre-Application Preparation:
Must be taken care that the application surface is solid, carrier, dust-free and clean.
The surface should be cleaned of all kinds of oil, grease, rust, tar, paint and curing materials that may reduce adherence and be thoroughly cleaned.
Existing cracks and gaps should be cut in 2 cm depth and width with vertical edges.
Creating gaps in the form of a "V" section should be avoided and sharp corner details should not be left.
Application:
In powder applications;
Care should be taken that Sumax Stop Turbo does not come into contact with water before application.
Press a small amount of powder material to the area of active water leakage with a single move. Hold it in this way until the Sumax Stop Turbo has hardened and the water flow ceases.
Repeat the above procedure several times, from the perimeter of the cavity to its center, to repair the gaps that cannot be closed at once.
Immediately after the application, clean the excess material around the gap with suitable equipment.
In applications to be mixed with water;
Put the amount of Sumax Stop Turbo that you can consume within 30 seconds into a clean application container and mix with sufficient amount of water. Do not mix for more than 15 seconds. Do not add any chemicals or foreign substances to the mixture.
Follow the same procedures as the powder application method.
Warnings:
In Sumax Stop Turbo application, if the ambient and surface temperature is below + 5ºC or above + 35ºC, suitable temperatures should be expected.
Sumax Stop Turbo sets quickly as a result of the rising hydration temperature. Therefore, it should be kept moist for 15 minutes. This time should be 30 minutes on dry and absorbent surfaces.
Working and reaction times of systems containing special cements are affected by the environment and ground temperature, and the relative humidity in the air. While the reaction slows down at low temperatures, this extends the pot life and working time. While the reaction accelerates at high temperatures, this shortens the pot life and working time.
For the material to complete its curing, the ambient and ground temperature must not fall below the allowed minimum temperature.
The material is not flexible. Later, cracks may occur in areas exposed to vibration, in areas where movement or settlement is observed.
After the application, used tools and equipment can be cleaned with water.
After the product is hardened, it can only be removed from the surface mechanically.
Consumption: Approximately 2 kg for an application surface of 1 liter volume.
Packing: 1 kg. / 5 kg. plastic bucket
Storage and Shelf life:
It can react with the humidity of the air. Therefore, keep the packages closed.
Shelf life is 12 months in its original packaging in a suitable environment.
