Pre-Application Preparation:

The surface to be applied should be stable, strong enough to carry loads and without cracks.

The application surface should be cleaned of substances such as dust, oil, paint that prevent adhesion, if any.

If there are defects on the floor to be walled with aerated concrete brick, it should be corrected with a screed and brought to the tailor.

If necessary, the surface should be wetted sufficiently before the application.

Application:

25 kg Alfix Block, Gas Concrete Braiding Glue, 8-9 lt. It should be poured into the water slowly and mixed until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Mixing should be done with a low speed mixer. Any additives not specified in the application instructions should not be added.

The prepared mortar should be rested for 5-10 minutes to mature. It should be mixed again for 1-2 minutes before starting the application.

In-pot mixture should be consumed within 1-2 hours.

The adhesive should be spread over the whole surface, it should be applied in the same thickness by combing with a 10x10x10 mm comb.

While knitting, care should be taken to leave a maximum 3 mm wide joint horizontally and vertically, and care should be taken to completely fill the joint gaps with adhesive.

Sticking should be done on the combed mortar within 10-15 minutes.

The aerated concrete block placed is placed by ramming from the top and side.

Warnings:

Avoid application at temperatures below + 5ºC and above + 35ºC.

Expired or crusted mortar in the container should be discarded.

Consumption: 2-3 kg / m²

It is the consumption of the mortar when applied to a 3mm thick, 1 m² surface. The consumption to be determined according to the wall area should be calculated taking into account the size of the bricks (See Masonry Mortar Consumption Calculation).

The amount of consumption is the values calculated theoretically in the laboratory environment; We recommend that the consumption control sample is applied before the application.

Packing: 25 kg craft bags.

Storage and Shelf Life:

It should be stored in its unopened original package, in a cool and dry environment, protected from frost. For short term storage, maximum 2 palettes should be placed on top of each other and the shipment should be made on a first in, first out system. Palettes should not be stacked on top of each other during long term storage. It is 12 months from the date of production under suitable storage conditions. Opened packages should be stored under appropriate storage conditions and used within one week.
