GROSS CONCRETE SURFACE CORRECTION AND REPAIR MORTAR

Product Description:
It is a cement based, single component, polymer and fiber reinforced, high stability, gross concrete surface correction and repair mortar that provides smooth finishing on exposed concrete surfaces.

It is suitable for TS EN 1504-3 I R1 class

Public Works Pos No: 04.613/3B

Areas of Use:
Indoor and outdoor,
Repair of surfaces such as exposed concrete, precast concrete, aerated concrete, briquette brick,
Leveling the surface of concrete elements with surface irregularities,
Repairing and plastering gross concrete surfaces,
In plastering and repairing of walls and ceilings,
Ceramic, tiles, etc. In obtaining a smooth substrate before coating materials,
It is used to obtain a smooth and solid surface before painting and insulation.

Features:
It is mixed with only water and is easy to apply.
Provides a smooth surface finish.
Provides high adherence to concrete and plastered surfaces.
It is applied easily and without cracks on large surfaces.
It shows high thixotropic properties.
It is resistant to water and bad weather conditions.
It is resistant to freezing-thawing cycle.

The above values are given for +23 ºC and 50% relative humidity.

Pre-Application Preparation
Must be taken care to ensure that cement-based surfaces are solid, carrier, dust-free and clean.
Any kind of rust, grease, oil, etc. that will weaken the surface adherence. must be cleared of residues.
The iron and wooden wedges on the surface should be removed and the gaps up to 4 cm deep should be filled with Tamires R8 repair mortars.
If there is a water current on the application surface, it should be drained or closed with a suitable plug.
The application surface should be saturated with water, but there should be no free water left on the surface.

Application
The appropriate amount of water is poured into a clean mixing bucket with the help of a scale.
Tamires R5 is added slowly and it is mixed for 3-4 minutes until a homogeneous and lump-free mixture is obtained. It is mixed and approximately 5 min. rested and again 30 sec. After mixing, the material becomes ready.
In surface leveling:
Application thickness is 1-10 mm in one layer and 20 mm in two layers with a trowel. The mortar is expected to absorb its water and the plaster is finished with a steel trowel or sponge tripile by sprinkling water on the mortar that has been pulled with a plasterer brush.
In thicker applications, it should be applied in two layers. The second coat is applied when the first coat dries.
Wide surfaces open to the atmosphere, especially in hot, dry or windy environments, should be protected against rapid evaporation with wet sacks, water or special curing agents for 24-48 hours after the application.
For repair purposes:
Pieces of plaster are cleaned. An approximately 10 mm deep V section is created along the crack. The mortar is filled with a trowel and when the filling hardens, the surface is covered with a trowel.

Warnings
The prepared mortar should be applied within 30 minutes at + 20ºC. This period is shorter at higher temperatures.
Working and reaction times of cement based systems are affected by the environment and ground temperature and relative humidity in the air.
At low temperatures, hydration slows down, which increases pot life and working time.
High temperatures accelerate hydration and the times stated above decrease accordingly.
In order for the material to complete its setting, the ambient and ground temperature should not fall below the minimum allowed temperature.
After the application, tools and equipment used should be cleaned with water. After Tamires R5 is hardened, it can only be removed from the surface mechanically.

Consumption: 1.50-2.00 kg / m² (for 1 mm thickness)
The amount of consumption is the values calculated theoretically in the laboratory environment; We recommend that consumption control sample application be made before the application.

Packing: 25 kg craft bags.

Storage and Shelf Life
It should be stored in its unopened original package, in a cool and dry environment, protected from frost. For short term storage, maximum 3 palettes should be placed on top of each other and the shipment should be made on a first in, first out system.
Palettes should not be stacked on top of each other during long term storage.
It is 12 months from the date of production under suitable storage conditions.
Opened packages should be stored under appropriate storage conditions and used within one week.
