FLOOR PRIMER
 
Product Description:
One-component, acrylic-based primer material used as a floor preparation primer before screed and concrete applications, in order to prevent rapid absorption of water on absorbent surfaces that are susceptible to dusting and to ensure a strong adhesion between the application floor and the coating layer.

Areas of Use:
Indoor and outdoor,
In horizontal and vertical applications,
On highly absorbent surfaces,
Before floor materials such as leveling alum, to increase adherence, to prevent dusting, to prevent foam formation,
As lining material before ceramic applications,
To increase adherence before ceiling plasters,
It is used to increase the adherence of concrete surfaces that will be exposed to pedestrian traffic against dusting.

Features:
It is easy to apply, increases workability.
It is water-based, odorless, and can be safely used indoors.
Provides high adherence, prevents dusting.
It is applied before cement-based coatings to be applied on absorbent surfaces, preventing rapid water loss and air bubbles that may occur in the screed.
Provides moisture resistance.
It is suitable for underfloor heating systems.
It is also suitable for use on ceiling and vertical surfaces.

Drying Time: 45-60 minutes
Second Layer Application Time: 60-90 minutes
Service Temperature: -30ºC to + 80ºC
The above values are given for +23 ºC and 50% relative humidity.

Pre-Application Preparation
Must be taken care that the application surface has cured.
The application surface must be cleared of dust, oil, paint, curing material, detergent, mold oils and anti-adhesion materials such as silicone.


Application:
Betomax Level, Floor Primer is a ready-to-use primer. It is mixed thoroughly before use and applied in two layers with a brush or roller.
If necessary, it is diluted with water at the rate of 1/1 while applying the first layer, and applied without thinning in the second layer.
The drying time of the product is approximately 45 - 60 minutes. If it is to be coated, it is coated before the primer is completely dry.
If it will be applied on floors with floor heating, the heating should be turned off during the application. In winter, the heating system should be kept between 15 - 18 ° C

Warnings:
Avoid application in frozen areas, where there is a risk of freezing within 24 hours or in areas open to direct sunlight and wind. 

Consumption: 100-200 gr/m²
It varies depending on the application surface.

Packing: 10 kg. plastic bottle

Storage and Shelf Life
Protect the liquid component from exposure to sunlight and frost between + 5ºC and + 35ºC.
Shelf life is 12 months in its original packaging in a suitable environment.
