ACRYLIC EMULSION BASED CURE MATERIAL
Product Description:
It is an acrylic based curing material that is applied on freshly poured concrete, which provides strength increase by keeping water within the concrete with the film layer it forms, and prevents superficial cracks and shrinkage cracks by preventing rapid drying.
Public Works Pos No: 04.613/1F
Areas of Use:
In the curing of vertical and horizontal structural elements,
Immediately after freshly applied concrete, screed and surface hardener applications,
Concrete applications where air flow, evaporation is high and humidity is low,
In high-rise buildings where water curing is difficult,
On the surfaces that are planned to be coated (plaster, screed, paint, ceramic and epoxy coating) later,
Residences, shopping malls, business centers, terraces,
Indoor and outdoor parking lots, warehouses,
Airports and field concrete,
Airplane runways, taxiways and parking areas,
Concrete roads and bridges and dams,
It is used in channels and canalette concretes.
Features:
It minimizes the water loss of the concrete with the thin film layer it creates, and ensures that the concrete is cured with its own water and the cement is better hydrated.
Concrete with curing material provides an increase in strength up to 20% compared to normal concrete.
It is a more effective and economical method compared to classical curing methods.
It prevents surface dusting and increases surface abrasion resistance.
It reduces shrinkage cracks on the surface caused by fast drying.
It does not constitute for resin and cement based applications to be made on the cured surface after application.
It impregnates the concrete surface and increases surface impermeability.
It gives a semi-gloss appearance to the concrete surface.
With its homogeneous structure, it is evenly distributed over the entire surface and provides surface color homogeneity with full curing in the concrete.
It increases the resistance of concrete against frost.
Its application is simple, it reduces labor costs.
Does not contain solvent, suitable for indoor use.
Technical Specifications:
Appearance: White liquid
Density: ~ 1 kg / liter
Flash Point: No
Drying Time: 2 hours
The above values are given for + 23 ° C and 50% relative humidity. High temperatures shorten the time, low temperatures extend it.
Application:
Curemax AC should be applied by homogeneously spraying or roller on freshly poured concrete. Curemax AC is applied to surface finished surfaces of field, road and slab concretes and surfaces of concrete with molds that have lost their shine after the molds have been removed.
Warnings:
Application of Curemax AC by spraying is recommended to obtain a uniform structure. Although the effective duration of the applied Curemax AC varies depending on the film thickness, weather conditions, the degree of exposure to UV rays and the condition of the concrete surface, it is effective as long as the required water for the concrete remains in the structure.
Consumption:
Average consumption of Curemax AC is 0.20-0.25 kg / m².
Average consumption for applications over surface hardener is 0.15 kg / m².
In order to ensure effective curing in open air and windy environments, the second layer can be applied within 6 hours following the first coat application. Coverage decreases on inner surfaces under shade.
The amount of consumption is the values calculated theoretically in the laboratory environment; We recommend that consumption control sample application be made before the application.
Packing: 30 kg of plastic drums
Storage and Shelf Life:
Protect from exposure to sunlight and frost between + 5ºC and + 35ºC.
It must be stored unopened in its original packaging. Shelf life is 12 months under appropriate storage conditions.
Curemax AC must be protected from frost. In cases exposed to frost, it should be thawed and mixed very well before using at room temperature without contacting with fire.
